The Pope Air Force Base School Liaison Officer works with local districts, schools, parents and students on issues related to elementary and secondary education for military family members. As military parents of school age children are aware, there are unique issues to students transitioning to new schools at the beginning or the middle of the year.
The role of the School Liaison Officer at Pope Air Force Base is to assist families ensure their children receive the best possible education regardless of where they attend school.
