You'll find information about filing for bankruptcy, finding a lawyer, and planning a funeral, along with many other useful topics.  Use the Resource Directory to contact a specific company or your local consumer protection office or Better Business Bureau. Site provides a Sample Letter to file a complaint; also information on dispute resolution, small claims court, and bankruptcy.

Education is the first line of defense against fraud and deception - make well-informed decisions before you spend your money.

Military Sentinel - Military Sentinel is a project of the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Defense to identify and target consumer protection issues that affect members of the United States Armed Forces and their families.  Military Sentinel also provides a gateway to consumer education materials covering a wide range of consumer protection issues, from auto leasing, to identity theft, to work-at-home scams.  Military Sentinel allows members of the United States Armed Forces to enter consumer complaints directly into a database that is immediately accessible by over 500 law enforcement organizations.
