Readiness Programs and Services

  • Morale Call
    • One designated person can call you at your deployed location once per week for fifteen minutes
    • You must give the designated person the operator’s number to the nearest AFB, your deployed work # and your rest number.
    • The designated person can call from any phone location to the operator of the nearest Air Force Base.
    • The person then asks to make a Morale Call by giving one of the DSN’s from your deployed location
  • Car Care Because We Care (CCBWC)
    • One free vehicle safety inspection and oil change during deployment & 2 for remotes.
    • Spouse picks up a CCBWC voucher from the Airman & Family Readiness Center.
    • Spouse calls the Auto hobby shop to request an appointment to bring vehicle in for service.
    • The servicing of the vehicle and the paper work will take about an hour to complete.
  • Give Parents A Break
    • - Free child care for children (6mths-12 yrs) twice a month at the CDC on designated dates.
    • Spouse calls the CDC (394-4323) by the suspense date to request to bring child or children in for child care.
    • Give Parents A Break is Good for up to 30 days after member returns from deployed location.

  • Hearts Apart
    • Spouses support group which meets once per month for free lunch or activity
    • Lunch can consist of lunch at locations such as Pope Club, Outback Steak House or served at the A&FRC
    • Activities can consist of movies, bowling, etc.
    • We give child care vouchers to reimburse you and so the parent can really have time to meet & greet with other attending parents
